Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box

by Gordo » Wed May 04, 2016 12:08 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can obtain a schematic or wiring diagram for a Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box?

As it is only a connection box, with no moving parts, I cannot find one in the wallbox or stepper manual (of this era).

I am trying to connect a 3031 wallbox to an 1100 Wurlitzer, but someone has previously cut, removed and changed some of the wiring inside the terminal box and connector plug.

Thanks

Gordon....

Gordon,
Try Bill Butterfield ( listed above--MFFE) --he's the "go to guy" for "old stuff" and, paperwork-- Ron Rich

Hi Ron,

I contacted Bill and he sent me the information straight away.

He is a champion.

I should be able to put the wiring back together correctly now!

I appreciate your advice and Bill's assistance.

Kind Regards

Gordon...

Hi,

As an update, I rewired the Terminal box as required, and

it works fine.

Yes, I got lucky. I would never have worked out the correct wiring without the diagram.

Thanks

Gordon...

Gordon,
You are welcome--glad it worked out well !
Reminds me of the old "Peanuts" cartoon--visualize ( 'cause I sure can't draw !), Lucy sitting on the toilet, looking dejectedly at the empty TP dispenser---the caption is: "Remember--no job is finished till the paperwork is done !" Ron Rich
