RockOla 1000 help needed

by Ron Rich » Sat Oct 29, 2011 7:30 pm

Hi All,
Does anyone have access to a RockOla 1000 (aka the Wurlitzer 1050 remake).
If so, could I talk you into taking a photo of the door lock, from the inside ? Or better yet, if anyone has a "junker" and wants to sell that door lock assembly, let me know--(BTW-I have the parts book--it does not show it from the inside) TIA, Ron Rich

Hi Ron,

Have you contacted Sound Leisure in the UK the 1000/1050 was the first jukebox they produced after they bought the tooling rights for the cabinet.

If you try contacting Alan or Chris Black I am sure they may be able to throw some light on how they produced their locking assembly.

Regards
Alan

Hi Alan,
No--I do not know them--I also suspect that the RO version was different in this regard, since the artwork in the parts book appears to be "scrubbed", in this area.

Ron,

There's a few sites with photos of jukeboxes of all eras on them, each gives a credit to the owner of that particular jukebox of the photos displayed, might be worth a try contacting someone who has one.

On the pinball rebel site, the photo is attributed to;

Candice J. Sylvester Automated Services LLC
