It's the way of the world.
Magnavox sadly, are virtually unknown in the UK.
Bush were a very respected name in the UK, making quality audio equipment since before WW2, I had a second hand Bush 1957 made VHF 64 valve radio in the sixties, fantastic performance.
As a British company it no longer exists, the name's now put on "any old tat" from the far East, I wouldn't buy anything with that name on it now..

Why don't you try posting exactly ( or as close to it as you can get), what you want, in the "wanted" section of this forum ? Ron Rich

by Record-changer
The Magnavox electronics and cabinets were made in Fort Wayne Indiana. The record changers were made by Collaro (bought by Magnavox in the early 1960s) in Barking England.
In the early 1970s, Philips Electronics (Netherlands) bought Magnavox. The best Magnavox equipment still contained the Collaro changers, but the cheaper ones contained Philips or VM changers.
Magnavox continued to use Collaro changers until they ceased production in 1993.
