I just picked up an admiral console a few weeks ago and haven't been able to find anything on line for it. Am just wanting to find out some information on it, best parts shops, things to look for, maintenance, and what they go for to get my wife off my back. I got it home to find out the record player didn't work. I have just enough mechanical and electrical knowledge to be dangerous so i lubed the main shaft and it started running but won't run at correct speed. I know there is bad wire somewhere but i'll leave that to someone with more knowledge than me. If anyone can help with anything above i would be greatfull, the model number is shown as ( C524 G), that includes the space. I'm not sure if there is something missing in the number or not.

thank you,
travis

The photo you attached is not anything "Admiral".
It's clearly a General Electric, made in the 1960's.
Nothing special about it.

Worth rebuilding if you want to use it as a recordplayer. The changer will need a complete cleaning and lube. Also I am sure the electrolytic capacitors will need replaced. I sense in your post that you lack the knowlege and skill to tackle this and that you will need to take it to someone who knows what he is doing.
