What's a "Venus" ? Please use the ID tag, to ID phonograph, rather then the "marketing" name. ( Most "service oriented" people, like myself, paid no attention to marketing names, used by jukebox makers, as they often re-used the same names for various different operating systems). Ron Rich

Hi Bill,
To "free play" that model locate the "service switch" and put it into the "service position". Once in that position, the display will read EITHER, "errors exist", or "service mode". If errors exist, hold down on the POP key, and press the "reset key" three or more times till the display reads"service--" When the display reads "service--" press the #5 key two times---memory is shaky now--
then hold the reset key down and push #3--if that does not change display, hold reset down and push # 9--One or the other will display "FREE" when done. Return service switch to normal/operate position.

My top center light is out where the decorative cds spin. Looks like 4 leds on each side...Maybe a connector off? Any help would be appreciated.

Mike,
I do not remember what that model used for lighting--too many models --
I THINK that it still used "light bulbs"--specifically #73 "mini wedge shaped" lamps, in that model---If so, they are inserted into a holder (either gray, or black), which is "twisted" into the board. Take a look, and see if my memory is correct--if so, they are wired with sets of TWO lamps in series--all the way throughout the phono--They are supplied 28 VAC, from the main power supply--SOME models had a resistor, mounted on the cabinet wall, in series, with the supply---
IF "LED's" were used, there will be a "LED controller" mounted on the cabinet, somewhere--Ron Rich

Thanks for the help so far...newbie to this juke so sorry for dumb questions.
Thanks to Ron Rich I have it set to free play. However, it wont let me play entire cds. I usually hit cd # then pop but it gives an error message. How do you play entire cds in free play mode?
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike,
In order to do that, you must "grant permission"--
To do this--
Go to "Service Mode"--type 6992, and toggle it to "on" --same as you did for free play
This May NOT work, should it not work, you have an early CCC version, chip, that did not allow it.
