NSM e160 Prestige Carriage Jukebox problem

by coljuke » Sat Mar 14, 2015 10:10 pm

Hi, I have a 1977 NSM e160 Prestige with a problem. The Jukebox selects a record then the Carriage loads a record and then immediately unloads it again without playing. Can anyone advise on a solution ? Or sections of a manual to guide me through a fix.

Hi
Check the reject swith in case it is defective, you could unplug the wired remote which would rule this switch out, it could also be a problem with the MO relay which i think should switch off when the record begins to play , check the reed swich and magnet at the base of the tone arm. The carriages are prone to oroblems if there is dirt and/or dried up grease around the clutch area
