I need to replace my motor coupling and I am wondering just how invasive I need to be to properly remove the old part and install the new one.
I plan to order a service manual but I was wondering if this was very straightforward so I could get started immediately.

Pretty simple--
Remove the mech cover, remove the "strap" in front of the motor (down low), remove the 4 screws holding the motor--remove the old coupler, buy/read Ron Rich's Seeburg Mechanism Guide, so you know how to PROPERLY install the new one and reverse the whole process- Oh, and while you are at it, if you have not purchased a new one, you can get them from me too-- contact me off list, if you wish Ron Rich ronnnrich@yahoo.com
