Magnavox Micromatic Radio issue

by GreenSter100 » Sun Aug 26, 2012 7:09 am

Hey all, so I just got this Magnavox Micromatic Turntable/Radio in Mint condition other then dust. even the book and other documents were not yellowish like the normal I see usually.

It all works well except the FM radio, No Sound at all. the Board has a crack in it from over tightening the bolt. not something I did. but I have solder on the way. I don't think its the board though. the AM tuner comes in good. better then any other radio I have had so far.

Does anyone have any idea? it seems odd that the AM channels work. and it is almost like it is disconnected!

Magnavox made hundreds of thousands of "radio/phono" units in all shapes and sizes, and for many years.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

Does yours require an external antenna to work?
