Recently, I just received my brand new turntable from amazon.com. Mainly because I want to play my 33's, but also I want to be able to collect latter 78's, from 1930 onwards. A few years ago I started to collect antique phonographs, and really enjoyed them. Still do, bit I wanted to aqurie other reords. Also it was my mother who suggets that I collect vinyl, and not limit myself with just early records. I grew up listening to vinyl reocords, so I can appericate music that was recorded on this format. So now I have a turntable whihc plays 78's as well as 33's and 45's. I know I could have gotten an older turntable from the 70's that would do the same thing. Of course finding one in decent shape, and one that would not require to much work to repair.

This was just eaiser, plus they have improevd the quality. Also this is a professional one, the same kind that DJ's use. However, I won't be scratching my records. Oh, I could have bought less expensive model, but I'm not that type of listner. That's just me.

Sorry, I have not posted on here a lot, I'm usually on the OTVMMB or the Online Edsion Disscusion Board.
