Rowe R91 Freeplay?

Hi,
I just got my first jukebox and I am having a little trouble. My mom bought it for me as a house warming gift. It is a Rowe R91 and it had a few problems. The needle was not moving but we fixed that...Then the timing was off and we fixed that. Now my only problem is that it is stuck in random autoplay (I guess). I don't know how to get it to play the songs I select. When it is first turned on it displays error 36. I have ordered the manual but it is taking a while to come in and I am getting anxious. Any help?
