NSM Performer Grand (CD) control unit question

I am working on a NSM Performer grand that is giving a battery error code, I can't find a source for a replacement battery (loks like a chip really) So I may have to replace the control unit. This particular one is marked as a 206631B. I found one that looks just like it but it is a 206631C, will the difference in part numbers make a difference? I will include a pic f the one in the jukebox now.
Thanks

I can't see any battery in the pix, but generally speaking if the number is the same, the code letter, designates a later version---, which should interchange--- Ron Rich

Supposedly the component at IC3 is the battery-Dallas chip in question

If the new one "plugs in" the same way--I would chance it--

What do you mean by ES system? How would I check?

I'm pretty sure that's an ES-IV board. It has the same basic part number as my NSM Galaxy CD and it's an ES-IV system.
