Is $100 too much?

I have an opportunity to purchase an R-84 wood-grain jukebox. I was originally going to offer $50 for it but ended up going to $100, with 200 45 records included. The lady that owned the unit wouldn't do it but said she'd take $100 for the jukebox itself. I offered $75, just to have some spare parts, but she wouldn't go that low. So, I am stuck trying to figure out if it's worth it, to either use as spare parts for my juke OR to get working again.

The unit is complete, with the exception of the bottom speaker grill/covers and is non working. She says it lights up, but in general, this would be a blind buy. The 'wood grain' model doesn't particularly stand out in the crowd. The 10" woofers don't look to be in too great of condition, and although I haven't seen a good shot of the amp and power supply, I did notice quite a bit of rust on what I did see in the photos.

Stop being a cheapskate and give the poor woman the $100 the CCC is worth that alone in the USA working or not.

Well, it's not that I want to be cheap. I'm actually building an addition, remodeling my kitchen/dining room, working on my own jukebox and wallbox setup, trying to keep two riding mower going that keep breaking down, have $200 worth of dog food to buy every month, and have a lot of other bills. I'm the only one I know that is broke on the same day I get paid, and I don't even have a credit card or cell phone lol

Sounds to me like $50.00 is too much.
For comparison, I bought a R-86, complete, but not working. Paid $30.00 for it.

There's no doubt that if the jukebox could be parted out and sold, you could make money. The problem is that you have to find someone who wants to buy them, and since I'm not a jukebox parts store/supplier or repairman, I wouldn't have the same clientele. I did check ebay, and some of the CCC boards have gone for as little as $10 for two of them. I think there was a tested/working unit that only went for $14 and some change. It doesn't mean you'll be able to buy one that cheap when you need a new board but rather that there's no guarantee you could sell it for $100.

So to me, I just have to consider if the jukebox would be worth repairing and selling or if it would be worth $100 for spare parts for my own jukebox. I've noticed that there has been quite an influx of rowe jukeboxes on craigslist lately, complete and working for as little as $350. It would be hard to get $500-$600 out of a unit if other people were selling them for $350.

It also occurred to me that $100-$200 of the jukebox's value would be with the records it has in it. Even though you can find 45s occasionally between .10 and .50 at thrift stores or flea markets, ebay is about the only source for tracking down a completely customized selection of near mint to new 45s, with an average shipped price per record of $6 if you're only buying one. It could potentially cost you $400-$600 to fill that jukebox up with new, mint, or near mint records. Some records, like bob seger's turn the page (a must have) are about $35, if you can even find it.
