Allow me to Introduce Myself

by Edison_Fan » Mon Jul 23, 2007 12:24 pm

Hi, my name is Paul and I have been a fan of Edsion phonographs since Novemeber of last year. Hence the nick name Edison_Fan. I currently own two Edsion machines, a very nice S-19 diamond disc machine, and an Edison 2 minute home phonograph cylinder machine. I am empolyeed at a privite reception facility, that is housed in a Mansion from 1888. How cool is that?

I found out about this froum from friends, on the OTVMMB, and the OEDB, and deiceded, to join this forum. I figured this way I could meet even more people, who share my interests in antique phonographs. Besides the two Edsion, machines. I also have a nice collection of antique phonogrpah Advertisements. Plus a couple of "Nipper" satutes as well.

I look forward to meeting new friends, and seeing old friends as well.

Hi Paul,
Welcome to this Forum. You will find quite interesting information here regarding your area of interest.
I am an old-time collector of gramo's and phonographs of all makes, but of course with quite some Edison machines.I started collecting in the early 60-ties, so i have some experience--though the nice thing of this hobby is that still each day new info pops-up, and it is nice that it is being shared on this forum.
If there is something you are looking for be it info or machined or parts let me know.
