Rockola 1422 "O" Amplifier

by CoinOpCollector » Fri Sep 25, 2015 7:13 pm

I just recapped my "O" amplifier, and did a voltage reading on the power transformer
I am reading 120.7 across the primary (mains) to the transformer.

I see two major problems:
0 Volts across the red wires from the transformer.
10 Volts across the green-black wires.

Transformer PH3685-5
All wires disconnected. Only secondary wires shown below.

Test Wire-Wire Voltage Ohms
Actual Spec Actual Spec
Red-Red 0 ? 79.2 ?
Yellow-Yellow .5 ? 5.6 ?
RedYellow-Red(1) 0 ? 41.3 ?
RedYellow-Red(2) 0 ? 38.5 ?
Green-Brown 7.1 6V .6 ?
Green-Black 23.8 10V .6 ?
Black-Brown 4.08 ? .6 ?

Can anyone fill in the blanks (question marks) for me.
Thanks!

According to your ohm readings, the HV leads should put out the needed AC voltage to a rectifier.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
