ami 100-1

by pevan0 » Mon May 25, 2009 1:02 pm

Hello fellows ,

i'm new here because i've bought an old ami jukebox type 100-1 that I want to restaure. It is really a complete mess and as far as I can see there's only the round record plate missing. It seems a rare type of ami jukebox that is made in France. The inside should be more or less the same as in de AMI-I .So I'm looking for a service manual from this type. I can change with an original service manual from the the wurlitzer 2104.If someone has the turntable please contact me .

greetings , peter

Hello Peter,

what does the ID plate on the back of the jukebox say? You will find a model type and a serial number there.
An AMI made in France could either be a Lyric by Dentzer (EMDE or Eden) or - what I think more - a BAL-AMI Century:

Kind regards - Hildegard

Hello Peter,

Hildegard's more than likely will be correct that your jukebox may be a Bal Ami.
Check out JJ's Bal Ami site on www.bal-ami.com for more details on Bal Ami jukeboxes a great site that offers advice and shows most of the jukebox types, the history and where the known jukeboxes are.
