Rock-ola 414 I HAD working.

Hi everyone,
So I bought this old Rock-ola. All that seemed wrong when purchased was a seized mechanism. I had a manual so I dove in! I completely dismantled the mech and cleaned (Wife thought I was crazy). The jukebox was reassembled in about a week, and worked ok. Everything needed to be adjusted. I started getting close to having it just right and then, nothing. Only thing that works are the lights, but I cant leave it on due to smoke coming from the "outer index solenoid". While adjusting the unit I would simply start and turn off the system with the switch inside. I am guessing I burned something out due to arching. Seemed like this could be a simple fix. I mainly am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it or advise as where to look first. I have a manual and schematic diagram although my reading of schematics is weak. I just dont want to replace the solenoid if I will cook the new one since the actual problem remains. Anyway I am new to the forum, so I hope I did this well and in the right place. Thanks
