rockola 442 problem

after not being used for a year or so the drum of records will not rotate any suggestions? every thing else seems to be operating. bunky
A record may have fallen out of place, and is jamming the rotation of the carriage.
The drive belt may be slipping.
The relay or other circuit which turns on the motor for that function may be bad.
