Rock-ola 468 Selection issue

Hi Everyone!

I am new here, and new to jukes in general, my previous forays into coin-op were all to do with pinball, then a Rock-ola came up for sale dirt cheap, and here I am.

So I have a pretty rough Grand Salon (#468) but it will pretty much do everything except proper selection....(pushing a pin results in correct selection/play/reset)

There's no coin mech, but I can add credits by hitting the "Add" button on the credit controller. "Select any single" light comes on.

Push valid first digit, "first digit" light comes on.

Push valid second digit, NOTHING happens.

I have the service manual courtesy of Arcade Boneyard (great resource), but haven't been able to figure out which bit of the second digit sequence is off....

Wondering if anyone could give me an epiphany, or has any pointers.... As far as I can tell, all the components on the selection board are ok, not certain about the edge connectors and wiring, though I cleaned them all up....so.... Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy I just finished restoring one of these, my first Juke check out the "my pride and joy" section

If you carry on as if its working what happens? I mean, is it just the light not coming on?
When you hit the 3rd button does it stick down?

Nope, not just the light, though thinking about it, I haven't checked it - will do that. The selection circuit doesn't seem to notice the second button at all. Lockbar solenoid doesn't engage, third button doesn't stick down.

If you press an Invalid second digit button.
Does the Red "Press Reset and Reselect" light come on ?

I think there is a fuse in this part of the circuit around the 2nd digit selections. Check fuses within the selection unit.
