Rock-ola 459 Fuse ???

by jaystcb 1 » Mon Mar 02, 2015 6:46 pm

Hello everyone.

I am new to this forum. I have a Rock-ola 459. It has been in the family sense the early 80's. The last time it played was in the early 90's. It was working fine. Then just stopped. It has been sitting in the house every sense. I recently decided to get it going. Back in the day, The only thing that we had go wrong with this machine was the relays. After opening it up, I realized that the 3, 1/4 round buss fuses have been removed. I cannot find the manual. There is one on the right side of the board and 2 on the left side by the speaker overload light. Can someone please look up the correct fuses for me so I can replace them. Thank You.

The one fuse on the right. I believe is suppos to be a 125v MDX 5amp buss fuse. But like I said above. I can't find the manual to be 100%. As far as the other two by the speaker overload light. I have no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look next to, and around the fuse posts--"Usually"--the size and type of each fuse is silk-screened right next to it--I do not have a service manual on that model--but you can purchase one, from one of the suppliers listed above this post-- Ron Rich

Hi
As its been sitting around without use for so many years the gripper assembly will be seized up , the gripper and basket motors will also be probably all gummed up, so these would need to be looked at before kicking it into action along with cleaning the wobble plate slip rings and cleaning of the keyboard assembly
