The 9-8 dates from the late 1920s, and is featured on page 241 of "Brunswick Phonographs, Panatropes, and Records," by R.J.Wakeman, a comprehensive, extensively illustrated history of the Brunswick Phonograph Company which is downloadable here --

In spite of their size, they pump out amazing fidelity when a good-condition electrically recorded record is played.
