The 9-8 dates from the late 1920s, and is featured on page 241 of "Brunswick Phonographs, Panatropes, and Records," by R.J.Wakeman, a comprehensive, extensively illustrated history of the Brunswick Phonograph Company which is downloadable here --

With an original suggested retail price of $95, this was one of the low-end, smaller acoustic Panatrope models, described in the book. In spite of their size, they pump out amazing fidelity when a good-condition electrically recorded record is played.

For parts, in addition to EBay, you can check with any number of companies that specialize in antique phonographs, which you can find using a Google search for -- Repair Antique Phonograph OR Victrola. Great Lakes Antique Phonographs is a good starting place -- http://www.victroladoctor.com/
