Hey,
I just scored a mint Grundig so 161 ua stereo console. It's absolutely beautiful.I think it might be slightly rare because it has a reel to reel on the right hand side, and I have'nt seen that on other models. Can anyone tell me something about it?
I paid 250.00$ Did I do alright?
Thanks,Jimmy

Over the years I've seen a couple of these with the reel-to-reels. These German consoles are suppose to sound excellent. Does your work?

Hoowee, strap on your dancing shoes! Seriously, I've seen these consoles go for about what you paid, sometimes a little more or less. Some folks might think its a waste of money, but I love the old equipment. I think you did fine, especially if its in good shape. If its a tube unit, you might think about having the caps and such gone over, just to prevent fire and other unpleasantness. Does it also have a turntable?

Yep.Turntable on the left, stereo receiver in the middle and the reel to reel on the right.
It's beautiful alternating planks of blonde tiger maple in the front and a darker wood probably walnut on the top.Simply stunning.everything mint.

Did you get it mainly for the reel-to-reel, or just to have something old and cool?
