I have a Capehart 26 tube Radio/Phonograph... The problem is the record changer is missing. Everything else is great but the phonograph mechanism is missing (long story) Model 414N The case and electronics are in good shape. I'm trying to sell it on Ebay right now but it will bring a better price if I can locate a turntable for it. What year is it? If it was made between 1932 and 1947, it might have had the famous Capehart turnover record changer. This is much larger than a normal record changer, and a working one is very rare. It turned the records over.
In the period between 1937 and 1950, Capehart made consoles with some of the Farnsworth changers, starting with the double-push P-2 and ending with the Gravity changer, the first changer with an umbrella spindle with no side shelf or overarm.
Later Capeharts had Webcor, V-M and Glaser-Steers changers.
It would help a lot to know when it was made, or have a photo of it as it used to be.
