Rockola 1422 Animation & Coin Mech Plug

I have 2 questions for a Rockola 1422

{RightHand and LeftHand from front of cabinet]
1) The LH and RH animation motors work. On the bottom of the RH animation motor, there is a spring, which I believe to be 12052 Colored Cylinder Drive Spring. [There is no spring on the LH side] The spring does not appear stretched (it measures around 19" in circumference), but is too loose to even stay on the pulleys when I put it around the 2 RH pulleys.
A) Does it need to be threaded differently?
B) Should there be another spring for the LH cylinders?
C) Anyone know a source for these?

2) Where the coin mech plug should go, there is another cable that runs into the coil bank and selector assembly. Anyone know what this may be?
