Solenoid Leaf Switch

by Sunnyledge » Sun Apr 20, 2014 2:25 am

The third leaf in the solenoid under the stepper unit in my Seeburg Q160 is "twisted". Is this correct? I've only been able to find one picture online and in that image the third leaf is also twisted.

Well,
Whut kin I say---
Other then that photo shows only two "leaf switches" --counting from the bottom up-the "third item" is not a "switch- blade", but a piece of "fish paper"--and yes, it usually twists, which causes no harm--
Also, that is the "Scan Control Assembly", and it is NOT "in the stepper", but is housed, along with (if so equipped), the optional stepper, in the TSU.
You may wish to purchase my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide", and read both it, and the Seeburg Published, Service Manual package. If so, PM me for info-- Ron Rich
