Pioneer Sound Issues

Hi,
I have a working pioneer jukebox with sound issues. All the speakers on the left side are fuzzy including the sub. The right side speakers sound good. What can I check? Is it a capacitor issue?

Hi Barb,
No crystal ball here--requires a trouble-shooting routine. Can be anything from a bad DAC to a bad speaker ?

Hi Ron,
I know its not the speakers because I swapped wires from another speaker and had good sound. All left speakers (3) and left sub (1) show the same issue with garbled sound. Someone mentioned that it could be a very small electrolytic cap or maybe a amp that is bad. Any advice?

Hi Barb,
Well, you have "trouble shot" half of the system--switch the input wires. If the problem "changes sides", when this is done, it is the DAC--if not, it's within the amp---Ron Rich

I switched the input wires and still have no change. So I guess my amp board is bad. Do you know of anyone who repairs this board or has a replacement?

Hopefully, someone will--but I don't -- Ron Rich

I replaced all the caps on the amp board with no change. I guess the power amp is bad? The power amp is a STK4231ii. Anyone have a good source so I don't buy a counterfeit?
