Rowe Ami Checksum help please

by dandares41 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 3:06 pm

Firstly being a newbie here . id like to say hi to you all and what a great site.

Now ive recently purchased a Cd100 jukebox, after finding out it has the original cd wire basket causing me problems throwing discs in all directions. New magazine kit on order. Now i keep getting now and again checksum=5700 message and interupting the music. Board error is flashing on the ccc. Any ideas what this equates to guys.

Thanks Dan :D

Dan,
Welcome !
That usually indicates a "reboot"--check the error messages and let me know what it says--

Hi Ron

Thanks for the quick response. Well i checked the error messages and it states "no errors" this maybe cos ive cleared them. By the meaning of reboot. does this by clearing the messages like ive done or just a swithch off and on.

Also do all the wired magazinge cd100 jamb in the slots until you change to the plastic upgrade kit. Ive got that on order.

cheers Dan

Do you have the Service Manual ? Do you know how to read the errors ?

Yes got the manuals, but theres no errors, or any need to clear them. Just states ramtest passed check sum 5700 and then the music starts again. ???

Exchange the CCC first. Make sure you use an updated Eprom program. (V4.0 or higher).

Do you "read" the errors, or are you just telling us, what the display says when it fails ?
