Victor Panel Horn repair

Hi,
I'm new to this forum,. and need some advice. I have a Victor #3 and it was missing the horn, so I found a Victor panel horn which I heard they came with besides the normal brass bell type. The problem is it's original and has a loose part at the bottom where it attaches to the elbow. as-is it won't support its own weight. How do I repair this? Is there a good way that does the least damage to it and doesn't ruin its originality? Thanks,

Yes, where it joins the black panels. How would you repair that?

Considering the fact that these horns continue to escalate in value, I think your best bet might be to get in touch with one of the repair experts. They may be able to recommend something you can do, that would be an authentic type of fix, or perhaps could do the job for a nominal fee.
