Hi Jason:

Are you keeping it or selling it?

If you plan to keep it, you might want to join the Talking Machine Forum -- http://forum.talkingmachine.info/
That's where the most knowledgeable collectors currently hang out. They can probably answer all your questions.

If you plan to sell it, you can find some information about current sales prices by Googling -- Auction Price "Edison Idelia" OR "Edison Idealia" OR "Edison Ideal" (Note, there are variations on the spelling. Separating phrases by OR -- in caps -- forces Google to look for alternative words/phrases, so more results will be included.) The Idelia is a top of the line model, first introduced in 1907, so prices are up there, depending on condition, etc. Ebay would probably be your best bet, or an auction house such as: http://www.antique-hq.com/best-auction- ... tates-590/

HTH,
Joe

Hi Joe,

Thank you for responding, I really haven't decided what direction to go. I'm leaning towards restoration. If interested feel free to shoot me an email and I'll send you some pictures. Mdcane77@yahoo.com
