JukeJohn from Indianapolis passed away in December, thought some of you that had seen his posts would like to know ! I've known John for over 25 years and he was always glad to help anybody with their AMI jukebox !We also lost George Wagner, the Wurlitzer MASTER (Indianapolis)....... in December to cancer. George worked for Lew Jones distributors until it sold out in the 80's then worked for J & J distributors until he retired . (now it's Shaffer vending) May they both rest in Peace !

It is sad to hear that any of the older jukebox guy's have died.
We need to pass on our knowledge before we retire or suffer the same fate.

He will be missed, both by me, and others ! "Big John" (BJ), and I, "talked" quite often, usually via email, but once and awhile on the phone. I never met him, but always enjoyed our conversations, and often learned from him. Every year, as May came around, I would tease him, about being time to "tune up his couch"--he loved watching the "Indy 500 race".
Unfortunately, He was the 2nd "Jukebox-John" to pass last month. This one never "posted" here, or anywhere, he just "fixed jukeboxes", in San Francisco (Jukebox Restorations). His full name was John Joblonski. John was a good friend, who's skills far exceeded mine--he was a "master" at the older (30's, 40's) jukes.
