Ron I tried what you said it did not change. I did flip the reversing switch and it's changed now to cycling pick up and release record. I shot 2 small videos and emailed them to you.

Hi Robert,
From what I can see in the vid--it appears that the detent lever is never falling to the bottom of it's stroke. If that's the case, hold it ALL the way down, after, the clamp arm backs out--also hold the service switch "spring loaded" section, "on", for a second or two longer, and the mech should start to travel. Be sure the reversing switch is switch so that the mech travels to the left ! ( If you find my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" --I have covered this) Ron Rich
