Rockola 480 Techna battery pack

I recently bought a pair of 480s from a seller who had bought them from another guy who had figured he could make one good juke from the two. Both apparently removed parts at random and quit. I believe I have all the major parts (or one of each, anyway) but I just discovered while reading the parts catalog that there is supposed to be a battery pack (52512A), board (52255A), and cover (52178) located behind the turntable. Neither has that. This is not the battery showing on the Hit Tracker. I have thumbed all the way through the service manual and, other than an arrow pointing to its location on Page 16, I cannot find any mention of this battery assembly. Does anyone know what it's for and if it's necessary to operating this machine? This mechanism appears to have been used from the 478 through the 488.

Hi
The battery is not required for the machine to work, it is just functions to retain creidts/selections if machine is switched off-on, not really required for home use

Clones: Thanks for your help. I suppose I'm better off without them. Hopefully nothing important is missing.
