i have a prestige es 160 juke box
and i am looking for some help i cant get the carrige to start from the resing postion but i can move it by hand all the way to the right and it will play the record s only on side 1 not side 2 i dont have the manual and i dont know anyone who works on them

I would go on the Stamann site www.jukebox-world.de run by Hildegard and Oliver Stamann. They will have the manual you require and may even have a copy in English. Their site includes a forum and archive sections and a sales area where parts such as motor drive belts can be purchased.

If you go on the forum I would download and install the google translator it will help even with the pidgin english results.

When you do selections for A and B side the carriage scans first one side - e.g. A-sides - and on the way back B-sides. To change from A- to B-side microswitches are involved if I know right. So you need to check those.

To Alan: I am sure sometimes the automatic tarnslations are kind of funny. I remember one day we got a request which was translated this way in to German. The request was for parts for a "military band". ??? After a while I figured out this must be a NSM Fanfare .....

Yes translations can be a pain sometimes so with new contact I tend to put messages in English and German (well translated German)
But you are well aware this site is in English well American anyway, Ron and I keep trading the occasional insult.
