Rock-ola 1488 parts wanted

by Lorne » Sun Sep 18, 2016 2:15 am

I have a 1961 Rock-ola 1488 (Regis120) that I hope to restore. It is in pretty decent shape cosmetically and I am quite pleased with it but it needs the coin bag (6 3/4" X 5 1/4") and the light difuser (part # 35022) replaced I also have the 1738 stepper and would like to find a cover for it.

I plan to restore the amp, (replace condensors, check resistors to see if any are out of tolerence and replace the selenium rectifiers) The only issue that it has which I am aware of is that it picks up the record and play it but not the next one. I suspect a mechanical issue??? Any help in where to look to find parts or suggestions restoring this machine would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Lorne
