Hey Forum Group,

New guy here...... just getting 'in' to Juke Box Amps. Recently acquired one of the subject Rock-Ola units, and would like to find a Schematic for it prior to getting too deep into it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! My unit is 'clean' but tubes are pretty much shot. But, from what I can see, this is more of an 'integrated' amp; with on-board tone controls, a phono pre-amp stage, and I'm guessing an active tone amp? Looks like two 12AT7s for VA/Phase Splitter in the power amp section, and four 6BQ5s in PP for output. However, I see two sets of speaker 'outs'....one is clearly marked as 16 ohm, and the other is not marked at all. I'm hoping that is an 8 ohm tap? Any info on this would also be helpful. I don't own any 16 ohm speakers.....so the amp is going to get 8 ohms....like it or not! Many thanks, Tom D Wharf_Creek@Hotmail.com

Well, you start with a model number -it should be on the back of the machine -or post a pic of the front of the machine and we'll tell you.

Offhand, i can only think of one model that used 6BQ5's: the 1493 -but one of the wall mounted ones probably did too.

All jukes have multiple wattage taps for the internal speakers. In reality these are just multi-ohm taps. if the machine spec's 16 ohm cabinet speakers you can connect 8 ohm by simply using a tap that is half the wattage the machine label says.
