Buying two jukeboxes

by mercury6 » Wed Jan 25, 2012 7:43 pm

Hello Everyone,
I decided to ask I have a opportunity to buy two jukeboxes seeburg ds100 w/attached speakers and a wurlitzer 2810. Heres my question I was only able to see the outside of both and pick-up the lids. both seemed in great condition just needed a good clean-up they do not have keys to open backs. I did not plug them in fearing something else might get damaged, but should I plug them in? Also what should I look for without keys and plugging them in. They seemed to have everything intact. And I mess around with jukeboxes and fixed a seeburg ss160 but I am not familiar with these two but neither was i with the seeburg ss160. Thank you for your time.

I would purchase the keys first (avail--see announcements --where to buy, above)--like you say, do not plug in till you at least check the fuses for the correct size and type ! Ron Rich
