inherited records - questions

by beckamoe » Mon Oct 22, 2007 2:47 am

I inherited a collection of 78s and am having trouble finding information about the records. I have nothing to play them on so I am unsure about the condition - however I don't see cracks or chips and just minor scratches that I assume are from use (unless noted). I really don't know much about 78s at all, so I hope I have all the information correct. If you have any suggestions of where to look for values or if I have something worthwhile, please send me an email - beckamoe@hotmail.com.

Most of those are common. Religious collectors might want the gospel ones.

That news one (the earthquake and the Scopes trial) might be rare.

I see you have my all time favorite Al Jolson song- If I knew I'd find you. Cool record!!! I've nearly worn one of my copies of that record out, I've played it so much.
