mystery part name for a Rockola 425

by Rockola425 » Tue Feb 10, 2009 11:49 pm

I am a proud owner of a Rockola 425 Grand Prix. I could use some help identifying a part that needs to be replaced.

On the underside of the TT is a metal wheel with rubber around it that rotates against the inside of the TT, causing the TT to spin. Does anyone know the name of this rubber-covered wheel?

Also, is there anyone in the SF Bay Area from whom I could buy this part? If not, a suggestion of someone who deals in Rockola parts would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Frank,
That's called an "idler wheel". Email me for my phone number, as I am in Millbrae, and can help you. ronnnrich@yahoo.com

Hi All,
Anyone know this guy that posted this originally ? He sent me his "mystery part", and I had it re-surfaced, but I can't find him now. His email "bounces" and his phone number is "dis-connected" ?? Ron Rich

Hi Ron:

I take it, there have been no responses to private messages via this board either? Did you get the guy's full name? Given the state of the economy, he may have had to move suddenly, etc. Also--and this may seem a little morbid--if you know the name, do a search for it on this page:

...you never know.... :(
