Seeburg 100-77D Topaz ?'s

by TimmyFnD » Sat May 12, 2012 9:42 am

I have a friend of the family who asked me to take a look at an older Seeburg juke that he had that no longer worked. He had no idea what model it was besides a 100. After a bit of research online comparing pictures I determined it was a 77D Topaz. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place online that has the service manual as a PDF file or something similar. I rather not pay for it; I know I'm a cheap-ass.

The main problem so far is as soon as the machine is powered on it grabs the 45 that is front of the mechanism, spins it for about 5 seconds, replaces it back into its home position, and keeps repeating this process.

I have very limited experience with EM machines and none what-so-ever when it comes to jukes, so I really don’t know what the process is suppose to be. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you would like to purchase books on this Phono, look above at the "announcements" section--"where to find"---
I would humbly suggest that my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" should be of use to you, in this repair--
