"Wavemeter"

Hi All,
EBay item # 171442525668, says it's a "Wavemeter"--can anyone smart 'splain me what it is intended to measure ??

Hi Ron,

A wave meter is piece of test equipement used as far as I know to aid radio repairs, if my memory serves correctly, it could be for setting transmitting?

By the looks of the one on the Ebay listings I would assume that it may have been a wartime unit and maybe Seeburg at that time did some form of war work.

Thanks--Yes, Seeburg, and other juke makers, did a LOT of "war work"--including building at least part of the "Norden" (SP ?) bomb sight--using Black Widow spider webs for the sights, themselves--Ron Rich
