Hi Again, Once again thanks for the help on the ami. I have just purchased a seeburg carnival and when first started using the tweeter speakers were coming and going but now nothing from them.the main speakers are fine and the connections look good.
I have ordered manual but just wondered if anyone could give me advice what to check whilst i am waiting for it to be delivered. tony.

Tony,
It would be my guess if both speakers are doing the same thing--a loose ground (earth) wire somewhere in the audio system. past the amplifier. Ron Rich

Hello Tony,

My advice is wait until you get the manual and then fully read it before you start doing any work on the jukebox.

Truer words of wisdom, were seldom spoken, nor written -- However--"Human nature" seems to negate them--at least when it comes to a "new" jukebox ?? Ron Rich

Hi Alan and Ron, Of course you are both correct, What i have noticed is in fact they are working but every now and again the sound on them comes up real high and then drops back to normal. any ideas. p.s. i havent touched it just listened. tony.

Tony,
Ah-ha--NOW you tell me that--Yep--bet you I know exactly what/where your problem is---
See if I'm right--play a selection at a loud volume, and tap rather hard on the "center" of the amplifier--
This should make them turn on/off--

Hi Ron, Thanks for reply. i tried that and nothing happened but listening more closely i think that one speaker is faulty and thats why it sounds loud when it cuts in,
I think i will trace wire back to amp or try changing speakers over to see if i am right,if so will have to find new one. thanks again tony.
