I have a Wurlitzer 2400 s. It has two grooves on the turntable belt drive wheel. On the front of the wheel it says use inner outer groove. I have two questions. First, this machine requires only one belt, correct ? The second is, which groove do I use ? Thanks
There were at least 3 different makes of motor used at that point. Since they were not synchronous they all had slightly different RPM's. So Wurlitzer adopted the stepped pulley to bring the speed reasonably close to accurate based on brand of motor used. The all ran slightly fast anyway.

Interesting, I did notice that one groove appears to be deeper than the other. I am using a Redmond motor. 1685 / 1640 rpm, I guess that is the rpm coming out of the two grooves ? The motor its self would not fluctuate that much would it ?
