Good Morning..

Newbie here to the site. I recently picked up my first jukebox, a Seeburg M100c. I bought it from a collector in the Seattle area.

It appears to be complete besides its missing some if the color animation components.

I hope this site will be able to get me up and running. I was able to get the machine to work, once but now I'm having difficulties.

I have read several posts and I'm confident that with the help of this site I can get it up and running.

The original owner stated it has been sitting for about 15 years in storage.

I would like to get this running but have no intention in restoring it. I like it as an original. Where do I start?

I have one service manual but it's only 23 pages.

I have read through it, but it's mainly just the basic set up.

Please read the "welcome newbies" above--
What you have is not the "Service Manual", it was called the "mechanism manual" in those days--earlier, and later models called it the "Information and Operation (I & O) manual".
I would advise you to purchase, and read, a "Service Manual Package" from any of the "ligit" suppliers listed above, and would humbly suggest that my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" should be of help also--PM me if you wish to purchase it--Ron Rich

I just completed restoration work on a Seeburg M100C.

I totally agree with Ron, the best lesson I've learnt is to get a good manual.

Before you buy one, check that it has a complete 'Troubleshooting' Section. This provides easy to follow advice in resolving problems that you will have.

I also bought the 'Restoring the Seeburg C' manual which was a great source of information for a newbie (like me) and how to get started. I also bought Ron's manual. Together they cover everything.

Good luck, once completed it provides a great sense of achievment.
