Rock-ola 464 insert coins light won't light

Having an issue where my insert coins light won't light when there are no more credits.
The resistor and light bulb are good and I confirmed there is no AC going to the board for that light.
I'm looking at the control board and mapped it out a bit but I'm stumped...I really don't see how this bulb is supposed to get current...ever...
Any advice on what to look for in this situation?

I am not familiar with that system, but, it's my guess that RockOla did their usual "share thing" with Seeburg here--
In Seeburg's MicroLog digital system, the "deposit more coins" lamp is only lit at the time coin(s) of too low a value to establish a credit is/are inserted. If no credits are accrued, or, if a partial credit is still established, after a selection has been made, the lamp is NOT lit--
Do you have the correct lamp inserted in this position -- this MAY be very critical ?
I assume you have the Service Manual/schematic ?? Should-otta show the circuit there !

Yes, the correct lamp is installed. I have the manual and will see if the circuit for this lamp is in any of the schematics.
I will also try to register inadequate credit to see if the lamp lights then...

Just triggering the dime on the coin mech still gives one credit. Not sure if there is such a thing as a partial credit on this setup. Tried on both the 10-25-50 switch and the 5-10-25 switch.

OK, standard pricing does not include nickels or dimes which is what I have, so there is no scenario where I could have a partial credit registered and need the "deposit more coins" light. To get the 5-10-25 pricing to work would require a different ratchet and *maybe* that bulb would illuminate when you only put in a nickel, though looking at the board layout with the diode placement and the wiring I don't see how this bulb could possibly receive any current. The "deposit more coins" light is not mentioned in the manual and I don't see its circuit anywhere in the schematics.
Bottom line is that apparently this light should never be lit on my machine.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, makes sense now.

No, no free play option that I can tell. There was a straw jammed in the ratchet when I got it in what I assume was an attempt to simulate free play.
I'm nearly 100% positive at this point that the "deposit more coins" light should not be lit under any circumstances with its current setup.

Hi
Maybe the reset pawl and spring have been removed so credits are not being subtracted. The pawl and spring are often removed to give free play

Hello. I've got a 464 and I've pulled the reset pawl to free-play the machine. This is safe because the lock bar does not energize until the 2nd digit is pressed, and it's easily reversed. The Insert More Coins lamp will not light unless the pricing scheme is enabled by changing the settings in the credit unit and adjusting the slug rejector to allow dimes and nickels. The service manual shows the various pricing options. Do all the other lamps in that bar light, I.E. 1st digit, 2nd digit, wrong number? If so, you should be OK.

Yeah, I'm good, all other lights work. This was a non-issue.
