Sad news--Vern Tisdale

by Ron Rich » Fri Feb 01, 2013 7:38 pm

Hi All,
I just got off the phone with Jason Tisdale--he asked me to post the sad news that, his father, Vern, passed away on Wednesday Jan 16th. I know I will miss him, and assume others will also--
He also asked me to post that he plans to continue to supply parts to the jukebox world, however, it will be about a month before he will be allowed to do so, due to legal reasons.

Sad news indeed Ron. There was talk on another forum but I assumed you would know.
It is good to know that Jason will be carrying on with the business, I understand that Jason has been doing this whilst Vern was ill.

Regards
Alan

This is definitly a huge loss to the vintage juke family, collectors, and service people all over the globe.
But particularly a great loss to the family of Vern as well.
My condolences to them.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

I'm from Australia, so I never met Vern.

Vern was very helpful when I restored an amp a few years back. He also provided me advice and found me a stepper for my Wurlitzer.

I had many questions during the rebuild process and Vern always took the time to help me through.

My condolences to his family, we have all lost a very nice person.

Gordon.
