got out the magnifying glass and i now think it is a 124uf. the other 2 caps connected to it are .1 with 400 voltage. the bad one is 64 volts. i looked and there are 4 cables from the juction box to the bottom of the selector. they are all coming from the keyboard which is plugged into the junction box and the keyboard cable has masking tape on each plug with the numbers( if they are correct). and they were in the correct locations. the cable in the selector i see 3 on one cable. so i will try and see if they are all numbered. in the juction box they are labled so i can trace the colors hopefully to see if they are in the correct locations. so if the cap fixes the smoking problem then i need to select and see that the correct pin is up for that selection. if so then the cable are correct and i will need to look elsewhere. am i correct?
