Rock-Ola emporer model from 1937

by vintagetvdoctor » Wed May 30, 2007 11:23 pm

Hi! I am restoring a Rock-ola Emperor (EMP2C) for a customer & I got it running nicely, but I need a picture of what the back door looked like so I can make one. I need the pic in color if possible so I can see what the backdrop behind the mech looked like as well. The sides of the inside on either side of the mech are an aluminum foil-looking material with red & blue musical scales on it. Did the back drop look the same? Anyone know where I can find some of this stuff? If anyone happens to have a back door & the little coin-dropper thing that you see the coins fall down through when deposited, please contact me. Thanks in advance! Regards, Ross

Hi, try this website http://www.pinballrebel.com/archive/rockola/rfeat.htm

your model is not listed, but there is a photo of the Night Club of 1936. This might be of some help.

I feel real dumb! The machine I am working on is an IMP20, pictured on the page you linked. Only problem is, there is no photo of the inside. Please help!
