Hi again. Re the AMi H: Opened the turntable motor housing, looked at the armature and turned it easily, it doesn't seem to be jammed at all.

Chris, I wasn't aware that the T-T motor was involved in our discussion. That motor has nothing to do with the jamming of the gripper motor.
