Mute on The Wurlitzer

by PMThom » Mon Apr 02, 2007 3:38 pm

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can disable the mute function on the Amplifier of a Wurlitzer 1015 OMT Vinyl.
I have aquired a Sony CD Jukebox to put through it, but it only operates if the turntable is spinning.
Can you help.
Thanks.

You should be able to do this by pulling the plug on the cable that goes from the amp to the mech--or by opening the (end of record reject/) mute switch under the mech shelf. However, on doing either, you may have a problem with the AVC "running wild"--Ron Rich
