Seeburg K/L model question

by Ron Rich » Fri Oct 05, 2012 3:39 am

Hi All,
Does anyone have a Seeburg K, or L model they can take a quick look at the PC board, for me--?
There is a wired jumper on the back of the TCU that's here for repair, and I don't know if it's "factory" or "Rube Goldburg's"--
TIA, Ron Rich

Hi Ron. I just finished restoring a L100. What jumper would you like me to look for?

On the tone control unit there is one jumper on the lower left corner (looking from the rear). Doesn't look to be factory but
may be a replacement of one.

H There,
Thanks !
This is on the solder side of the TCU-1 Code A. It is located in the upper right hand corner of the board when facing the parts side. Looks as if it jumps a "isolated pad", with two resistors ( 10 k, 1.5 m), and one pin from jack # 128, to the common of the group of resistors sitting dead center, above the treble switch.
Once again ---Thanks !! Ron Rich

Hi Ron. Yes it is a TCU-1 code A that is working great. No jumpers in that section. One in the bottom left as you can see in the photos. Here are photos of the solder side. Let me know if you need more!

Ron

Here are 2 pictures of the front of my Seeburg K - TCU-1 code A, especially the upper right hand corner of the board when facing the parts side.

If you would like a picture(s) of the solder side let me know and I will pull the back off and get whatever picture(s) you need.

Best Darrell

Thanks, Darrell!
If you do have a chance--I would like to have another photo of the solder side for comparison purposes.
