Is the select lamp lit ?

(If you mean the select lamp on the phono, yes because I hit the free play button on the phono.)

If not, deposit a quarter and see if the motor runs (Yes, the motor does run when you deposit a quarter.

you should be able to unlock any button by pressing another one of the same type. ( I might add it helps to have the WOM powered up and then the button function.)

Do you have a 2050 tube installed in the RCSU--in fact, do you have an RCSU in the phono ? (There is an RCSU and no, there is no 2050 tube installed - what function does the 2050 tube peform?)

There is only three feet of wire attached to the WOM, do you have any suggestions as to type of wire I should use to replace the existing wire?

Thanks
Darrell

Select lamp in the WOM--the one in the phono is independent
When it runs--do the buttons pop out ?\
Runs the RCSU
Depends on how far you are running it--I normally use Beldon 8445 --doubling up on two wires to make it a three wire system

Select lamp in the WOM--the one in the phono is independent

(The two select lights (one on each side) are both lit all the time when the power is on)

When it runs--do the buttons pop out ?

(The buttons are out and functioning)

Runs the RCSU (I now have a 2050 tube ordered and will see if it wil work when I get that tube installed)

Depends on how far you are running it--I normally use Beldon 8445 --doubling up on two wires to make it a three wire system

(a distance 20 0r 30 feet, is there any reason why you would not use telephone wire which is already three wires?)

Thanks,
Darrell

Ron wrote" "WOM should be oiled with SAE 20 Wt motor oil, as per manual."

Manual says: "The motor gears should be lubricated with Aero Lubriplate. A drop or two of Seeburk No. 53014 Special Purpose Oil on the Motor Shaft bearings will reduce wear and friction to a minimum."

I understand why you say use SAE 20 WT, but, after attempting to reach the points to be lubricated I need to ask how do you get to the motor gears and motor shaft bearings without tearing the whole unit apart?

Thanks
Darrell

What models of Seeburg Wall-O-Matic will work properly with a Seeburg DS100?

Would a Seeburg 3W1 Wallbox 100 Wall-O-Matic w Under Speaker Attachment be compatible with the DS100?

Thank you
Darrell

Darrell,
Forget about the "Lubriplate " !
To oil it, just get a long nail and all oil to trickle down--
All 100 WOM's will work

Will forget about the lubriplate and use oil you suggested. I have been exploring the wall-o-matic, (the service and parts manual does not have a good brake down of how the box is put together) and I have found out that to get to the points that need to be lubricated it is a simple process of lifting two program latch holder levers up and then lifting the entire program holder out. The parts that need lubrication are then well exposed to allow peoper lubrication to be applied.

Thanks

A seller has this listing for a square WOM "SEEBURG 3W1 100 SELECTION WALL BOX FOR Q 100 JUKEBOX". THe shape should not limit which box it will work with. I think it will also work with a DS 100 box, is this correct?

Thank you

As I understand a Seeburg Wall-O-Matic 200 will work properly with a Seeburg DS-160 and the progam guide will line up properly by reason that the selection system operates in conjunction with the selection system in the phonograph to which it is connected. Is this understanding correct?

Thank you
Darrell

Thanks Ron. I am considering hooking up external speakers to accomany the Wall-O-Matic. Do you know what the impedance tolerance would be and do you have any tips about hooking up external speakers to a Wall-O-Matic?

Thank you
Darrell

Darrell,
You can't "hook speakers" to any WOM--you can hook them to the jukebox--
Follow the instructions in the "Installation and Operation Manual".

Is a Seeburg Wallbox V-3WA compatible with a Seeburg DS100/160?

Thank you
Darrell
